Lifetime Giveaway

Every month until the end of 2026, one new Board Game Caddy account wins Lifetime Premium for free. Signing up is the entry, and it costs nothing.
The short version. Create a free account in October, November or December 2026 and you're in that month's draw. One winner a month gets Lifetime Premium (worth CA$79.99). We'll message the winner on BoardGameGeek. You don't have to buy anything, and buying something doesn't improve your odds.
1. Who runs it
The giveaway is run by Board Game Caddy (the "sponsor"), an independent developer based in Quebec, Canada. It is not sponsored, endorsed or run by BoardGameGeek.
2. The prize
Each monthly draw awards one Lifetime Premium membership to Board Game Caddy, with an approximate retail value of CA$79.99. There are three prizes in total, one per draw period.
The prize is added to the winning account. It can't be transferred, exchanged or paid out in cash. If the winner already pays for a monthly or annual subscription, we cancel it so they aren't billed again. The prize is awarded even if the paid lifetime offer has ended by then.
3. Draw periods
- October: 1 October 2026, 12:00 am to 31 October 2026, 11:59 pm
- November: 1 November 2026, 12:00 am to 30 November 2026, 11:59 pm
- December: 1 December 2026, 12:00 am to 31 December 2026, 11:59 pm
All times are Eastern Time (Montreal).
4. How to enter
Sign in to Board Game Caddy with your BoardGameGeek account for the first time during a draw period. That creates your free account and enters you in that month's draw automatically. There's nothing else to fill in.
No purchase is necessary. A free account and a paid one have exactly the same chance. Each BoardGameGeek account can enter once, in the month it first signs in. Accounts created before 1 October 2026, and accounts that already have Lifetime, can't enter.
5. Who can enter
You must have reached the age of majority where you live and have a BoardGameGeek account in good standing. The giveaway is void where prohibited by law. The sponsor and members of the sponsor's household can't enter. Accounts created in bulk, or to get more than one entry, are disqualified.
6. The draw
Within 7 days after each period ends, one winner is picked at random from all eligible accounts created during that period. Your odds depend on how many eligible accounts were created that month.
7. How the winner is contacted
Board Game Caddy doesn't collect email addresses, so we'll contact the winner with a private message on BoardGameGeek, sent to the account they signed in with. Before the prize is awarded, the winner must correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question, by BoardGameGeek message.
If the winner doesn't reply within 14 days, answers incorrectly or turns out to be ineligible, the prize is forfeited and another winner is drawn from that month's entries.
8. Announcing the winner
We'll only announce a winner's BoardGameGeek username publicly if they agree to it.
9. Your information
The giveaway uses only what Board Game Caddy already has for every account, your BoardGameGeek username and the date your account was created. Nothing extra is collected for the draw. See our Privacy Policy.
10. The fine print
The sponsor may cancel, suspend or change the giveaway if fraud, a technical failure or anything else beyond our control affects how fair it is. Any change will be posted on this page. By entering, you accept these rules and our Terms of Use. These rules are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the applicable laws of Canada.
